A Gift I'll Give to You - The Picture Book

This is an illustration that I created which was inspired by the lullaby that Betsey wrote when Molly was still an infant. The words tell the story about fairies coming after bedtime and taking Molly out to play and dance till morning. How could an artist not be captivated by the gorgeous imagery in this music!
A Gift I'll Give to You - A Legacy of Lullabies by Betsey Jacobs
My amazing and beautiful mother passed away in February of 2010. During her last year, it was my great pleasure to assist her in producing albums of her music. Most special to me was the CD that we recorded of her lullabies which were written for me, my brothers and our children. We were delighted with the results. Our dear friends - singers Brian Johnson, Wendy Mike, Brenna Wagner, Ellen Yin , and musicians Josh Farmer, Mark Walker and Dan Nichols provided their considerable talents to create a A Gift I'll Give to You: A Legacy of Lullabies by Betsey Jacobs. I created this illustration for the CD cover art.
